Overview
Noboribetsu Jigoku Festival is Noboribetsu Onsen's largest summer festival, held annually on the last Saturday and Sunday of August. In 2026, the dates are August 29-30. The festival takes place along Gokuraku Street, Izumigen Park, Hell Valley (Jigokudani), and a specially constructed stage in central Noboribetsu Onsen. By car it is about 10 minutes from Noboribetsu-East IC; by bus it is about 15 minutes from JR Noboribetsu Station, and public transportation is recommended.
