Overview
A three-day summer festival held annually in early August along the Kushiro waterfront. The 2026 edition features a harbor fireworks display on the opening night — replacing the long-running Tairyo Bayashi float parade that ended after nearly 50 years — followed by a citizens’ dance parade and a music parade through Kitaodori on the subsequent days. Admission is free.
