Overview
A three-day autumn ceremony held at the Ainu village on the shores of Lake Akan. The festival centers on the ritual return of marimo — rare spherical moss balls found naturally in the lake — and honors the relationship between the Ainu people and the local ecosystem. Events include a torchlit lakeside procession and traditional Ainu dances.
