Overview
A two-day summer festival held every year on August 14–15 along the main streets of central Obihiro, drawing around 150,000 visitors and recognized as the largest summer festival in the Tokachi region. The festival features a portable-shrine procession called Yumefuruya, a competitive taiko drumming showcase, a Bon folk-dance gathering, and street performances by internationally active artists. Admission is free throughout. 2026 dates have not yet been announced.
