Esashi, Ubagami’s three-day setting, and Obihiro, home to Kachimai’s evening fireworks, are farther from major hubs, so an overnight stay nearby is the lower-stress choice. Lake Toya is an onsen town with evening fireworks, which pairs naturally with staying overnight.
